About this site
This site was created to get people excited about The 17 Day Diet. I am a web designer and wanted to use my skills to build a place where people can share and grow (I mean shrink) together. When I first saw The 17 Day Diet on Dr. Phil I knew I had to do something, and this site was it.

I wanted to build a contest to do two things, get people excited about the diet and get the word out about it. I wanted contest to be something anyone could join, even if you didn’t have the book. I spent my own money to donate the prizes for the contest except for those which were donated by others in the fitness, health, and spirituality area.

Another reason why I did all this is because “I” need to lose weight too. I’m doing the 17 day diet and the 17 minute workout along with you. Stay tuned for some results.
