The Amazon Kindle is an electronic reading device. The best thing about the Kindle is that is really mimics the look and feel of a real book. The screen isn’t bright. In fact, you can read your Kindle in bright sunlight!
The Diet has generally been only available on their website but after a few months, it is now available for order on Amazon. When the book first came out, there was a big uproar because of its limited availability.
The 17 Day Diet website was slow and inaccessible due to the multitude of visitors coming from the two TV shows the author, Dr. Mike Moreno was on. Also, because of the flood of orders, there was a major issue when it came to order fulfillment. While I didn’t experience an issue with my order, many others did.
With the inclusion of The 17 Day Diet at Amazon now, I’m hoping fulfillment is improved as well as customer service. Allowing people to purchase a product where they want is crucial to the popularity of the product. While you can go on TV and such, that longevity doesn’t last long. Other marketing channels must be established in order to maintain the brand and popularity.
I believe the 17 Day Diet folks really missed the boat, around the holiday season, by restricting sales only to their website. My only hope is that it’s not too late. This latest news will make many people happy and I have to commend the team for finally giving in to the demand of the customers.
Some of you saw my video where I mentioned I lost 10lbs in 10 days and where I mentioned I don’t do the 17 minute workout.
You wanted to know why so I thought I’d explain what I’m doing too.
Basically, I don’t have the 25 or so minutes to do the “17 minute” workout. Yes, it’s not actually 17 minutes because there’s a warmup and cool down period. Also, I guess maybe it’s because I’m a guy, or I’m overweight and not as balanced as the very fit and thin women on the video, or I just don’t have the coordination. It’s difficult for me to get the routines down to the timing they want you to do it, then they change it every couple of reps.
Just when I’d get something down, they’d move on to something else.
So, I have joined the Fat Loss Quickie Club. There’s not just 3 workouts, there’s a TON of videos, audios, workbook and that. I was actually very impressed with what I got for the price! They have shorter workouts that fit my time schedule. 10 min here and there.

Personally I’ve been discouraged with The 17 Day Diet. In fact, I sent them an email on 1/5/2011 and just got a response yesterday 1/31/2011. How is that customer service?
Scott and Angie are not like that and have actually built a community where everyone can come and talk about their program, or whatever. Yes, THEY are in there too, so you have direct access. Everyone has questions once in a while, right?

Hi everyone…I guess I need to start with day one…only 10 days ago, did I restart the
1st day of the 17-day Diet plan…I started the week before but over the weekend I
went to a birthday party, and went on a date on Sunday to the movies..and could not
resist the movie buttered popcorn. So I then decided to start DAY ONE over…and I am
so happy that I did. It has been a little challenging for me because I work 2 jobs
and 12 hours a day, I leave for work at 7:45 am and do not get home until 7:45 at
night…..trying to cook and have my meals for me at night at 745 it is kind of late
and I feel that this is one of the reasons I have not lost more than the 7 lbs, and
my weight is fluctuating depending on how late I eat. However, I think I got it
figured out, except for working out, but I will get that too soon…. I do have more
energy and I am more focused on this diet than I have been in the past on other
plans…Now to catch up to today……. Well its day 10! Things are going great on the
17-day Diet….still trying to adjust to certain foods. But it is working. Down 7 lbs
on day 10….I can’t wait to be down the 30 lbs I want to lose…I am staying focused, I
am fixing the meals in the morning, need to do that at night so not so rushed in the
A.M., so that way I can eat about 6 P.M. and not so late, not able to get as much
exercise time in as I would like, but I am working on that (still). I am walking for
sure at night for the 20 minutes and get to the gym when I can, at least 2 times a
week, would love to be at 5 times … Good luck to everyone on their Journey to a
